Selling a Radio or Equipment?

I purchase radios and equipment suitable for parts recovery or restoration.
Prices offered are based on:
– Condition
– Completeness
– Demand for parts
– Time required to dismantle and test components
I don’t pay inflated “collector” or online auction prices for non-working equipment. My aim is sustainability — covering costs so the project can continue — rather than speculative resale.
If you’re looking to maximise sale value, auction sites may be a better option. If you’re looking for a fair, straightforward outcome, I’m happy to talk.

Donate a Radio or Equipment

Many classic radios outlive their owners. Others reach a point where repair is no longer practical. Donating these radios allows their usable parts to help keep other treasured radios on the air.
Donations are especially welcome from:
– Non-working or incomplete radios
– Radios with unobtainable or failed components
– Equipment from deceased estates
All donated equipment contributes directly to preserving the vintage radio hobby. Where possible, parts are carefully recovered, tested, and reused rather than discarded.

Deceased Estates

Handling radio equipment after a loved one has passed can be difficult — especially if you’re not familiar with the hobby.
I can help by:
– Assessing radio equipment honestly- Advising what may be restorable, reusable, or of limited value
– Accepting donations where appropriate
– Purchasing selected items where fair and practical
The focus is always on respectful handling of the equipment and ensuring it continues to be useful rather than ending up in landfill.
There is no obligation — sometimes a conversation is all that’s needed.
This reassures families without pressuring them.

Freight / Postage

Don’t let the thought of postage put you off – we have some great postal rates as well as a network of ham radio operators around the country willing to help – depending on your location, pick-up may be an option.

Please let me know what you have – thanks
