Warranty & Returns
Radio Wreckers supplies used, vintage radio parts recovered from non-working or uneconomical-to-repair equipment. Because of their age and history, most parts are supplied as-is, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Where testing has been carried out, this is described in the listing. Any known faults or limitations are disclosed to the best of our knowledge.

What we stand behind
We aim to be fair and transparent. We stand behind the following:
The part supplied will match the description and photographs
Any testing stated has been carried out as described
Known issues are disclosed at the time of listing
If a part is received in a condition that materially differs from its description, please make contact within 7 days of receipt so the issue can be discussed and resolved.

What we cannot guarantee
Due to the nature of vintage electronics, we cannot guarantee:
That a part will fix a specific fault
Compatibility where this has been assumed rather than confirmed
Performance once installed in unknown equipment
Damage caused during installation or by the host radio
Incorrect diagnosis is an unfortunate but common part of vintage radio repair, and cannot be grounds for a return.

Returns
Returns are not automatically accepted, particularly for parts that have been installed, modified, or altered. This policy exists to protect both the project and the hobby from misuse.
That said, genuine issues are always considered on a case-by-case basis. If something doesn’t seem right, please get in touch — reasonable people can usually find a reasonable outcome.

A note on intent
Radio Wreckers exists to help keep classic radios on the air, not to operate as a high-volume commercial parts supplier. Parts are priced to support the recovery, testing, and storage of vintage components so they can be used again rather than discarded.
If you’re unsure whether a part is suitable for your repair, you’re very welcome to ask before purchasing.
